Icom IC-7000 mounted on the center console. I cut off the back of the console to allow the wires to run thru the center. I also grounded the radio to the frame under the console, by scraping off paint, and screw/solder grounding strap from radio to transmission hump.

Using the Icom RMK-7000 remote kit and the MB-120 mobile mounting bracket...the control head of the radio

Jetstream mobile stick, 4 ' fiberglass coil, 4' whip mounted on a Lakeview mobile bracket. Note the braided grounding strap.

Close up of Center console with LDG IT-100 tuner. The tuner is mounted using a large tie wrap.

Front close up of Lakeview antenna mount. All bolts and hardware are stainless steel.

Another view of HF antenna, plus just above the tail light is my comet b-20 dual band 144/440 antenna.

I think the secret to good HF mobile is grounding. I bought several automotive alternator grounding straps. The antenna is grounded to the body of the SUV by scraping off paint and solder/screwing the contact. Same for the radio and tuner.
